Living in Sin
(the character portrait is not mine, nor drawn by anyone I know. It is borrowed from the internet and may be subject to removal for unauthorized use.)
Name is Race. Been playing ol' Cain here for a long time, Raven dug me up and invited me to check out the new Blackrose coven. I was suprised and honored that she had kept the Roleplayer's Pledge I'd posted on the former site. The original writer is a friend of mine and so I take it with me wherever my roleplaying goes.
I'm pretty easy going and open to almost any kind of play, within reason and as long as it has a story behind it. Sex can be part of the story, but must never be the vehicle that gets it from point A to B. Like small intermissions to assist plot and character development.
I believe the key to any good story starts with cooperation, collaboration, and communication. If you (speaking generally) want your character to look good, then you have to make the other characters in play look good. Play WITH them, not at them. Play off of every little detail placed in the scene and keep in contact with other players so that everyone gets out of the scene what each wants. Mistakes can be made, step back, analyze what went wrong, and never be afraid to try and re-write the scene. We're all authors working together to tell one large story.
